Paula Bracken
Chief Technologist
Paula grew up in the small town of Oakland, NJ, about 30 minutes from New York City. She attended Seton Hall University and graduated from The Valley Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Ridgewood, NJ. Paula has an Associate in Arts degree from Thomas Edison College of New Jersey.
After several years of working in general x-ray, special procedures, cardiac cath lab and CT in NJ and PA, she started working in MRI in 1990 and became certified in MRI in 1996. Paula has worked at Lexington Diagnostic Center since moving to Lexington in December 1997. She is responsible for Regulatory and Compliance at the center.
Paula loves the joys and challenges of working with patients, co-workers and making sure our imaging equipment is working at peak performance. Outside of work, she enjoys being part of a hand bell choir, Pilates and has been on several mission trips to places like Haiti, Costa Rica, Estonia and closer to home in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina and West Liberty, KY in 2012. She also serves on the board for Bluegrass Ovarian Cancer Support.
